Day 34 of my journey riding,
Got up this morning and the sky was looking very interesting!  Got on my rain gear for the start of my ride. Rode to a little diner in town for breakfast. After I got done eating and was heading out for my ride around 7:30am the clouds remained in front of me all morning with no rain .
Today my ride of 40 miles flew by. I truly enjoyed my ride from Oklahoma into Texas. I have to plan out where I will be stopping without over doing my rides. I could of done more today but the next section of my ride has some serious inclines. I have planned out for another 40 mile ride tomorrow so I can make a campground by Lake McClelland. This should put me around 25 miles from Amarillo.
Again the weather could be a factor for they have a chance of rain or thunderstorms everyday for the next few days. Need to ride for the winds look to be out of the south east or north east the next couple days which put it at my back.
I have made it thru another state!!
New Mexico I am coming!

Good Evening All, Today we leave Shell Island Fish Camp. Trisha and I spent 4 nights here and we had a great time! We biked each day not far but keeping our legs conditioned. This morning had our coffee and I had a muffin with peanut butter on it. Trisha had oatmeal she made but put to much water in it. Liquid oatmeal so she threw it away. We loaded up and headed out for Tallahassee. Today was only a 20 mile ride. Weather was great slight wind in our face but nothing to hold us back. We get into town and going up a hill so I was down shifting and my derailleur broke and twisted all up. Unloaded my fear from the back rack so I could take chain off so I could push my bike the last mile and a half. Lucky for me the ace I'm staying is a bike shop. They will fix my bike while I come home. They will have 12 days to get parts in and fixed. Should be no problem. 2nd day

Today started off great with Rosa and Joe! Had bagels  cream cheese and coffee! Had a great morning! There dog Augusta Moon or Augie for short was alot of fun and energy. Got ready to head out but was reminded again about water bottles.  Both days I have forgot them but my friends asked if I had enough water of course say yes look and no water bottles in freezer.  After I got my water headed out hoping it would not rain on me. I stopped at Huntington Beach for about an hour then rode to my sister in Bay Village for a coffee break. Thanks Dawn. Left out of there easy ride to Lakewood. Stopped at a local bar had 2 beers till Taylor got home. Finished ride to Pat and Taylor's. Got in unpacked took a long shower. Taylor and Pat took me out to dinner! I got teriyaki boneless wings. Pat and  Taylor have a beautiful house. Pat has done alot of remodeling himself.  Will sit and have a nice evening in there home tonight.  Bear is a beautiful German Shepard.  Going to
