Day 67 of my journey riding,
The day started of great! 67° to start my ride. Headed out around 5am. Planned on riding 28 miles today.
Couple pictures of the sunrise and a couple pictures of someones yard completely of bottle trees. Very interesting!

Got into the town of Victorville. Small restaurant which I took a picture of the sign. Went in and had some pancakes for breakfast. Talking with the waitress and she was telling me they are expecting 7-8 thousand people in town this weekend for the annual Hash party/ Marijuana party.
Started calling hotels and they are all full.
Comfort Inn had 1 room available for 245$ for the night. Glad I kept all my camping equipment. So camping tonight and also tomorrow night. Even the next town west of here is booked.
Should be in Devote tomorrow at the camp ground.  Sunday night in Upland. Monday in Pasadena.
At the campground helped some young kids put up a big tent. Family having a get together here. Whole I was blogging the dad brought me over a sausage sandwich!
Thanked me for helping his kids put up the new tent.
Looks to be a 35 mile ride tomorrow so calling it a night!

Good Evening All, Today we leave Shell Island Fish Camp. Trisha and I spent 4 nights here and we had a great time! We biked each day not far but keeping our legs conditioned. This morning had our coffee and I had a muffin with peanut butter on it. Trisha had oatmeal she made but put to much water in it. Liquid oatmeal so she threw it away. We loaded up and headed out for Tallahassee. Today was only a 20 mile ride. Weather was great slight wind in our face but nothing to hold us back. We get into town and going up a hill so I was down shifting and my derailleur broke and twisted all up. Unloaded my fear from the back rack so I could take chain off so I could push my bike the last mile and a half. Lucky for me the ace I'm staying is a bike shop. They will fix my bike while I come home. They will have 12 days to get parts in and fixed. Should be no problem. 2nd day

Today started off great with Rosa and Joe! Had bagels  cream cheese and coffee! Had a great morning! There dog Augusta Moon or Augie for short was alot of fun and energy. Got ready to head out but was reminded again about water bottles.  Both days I have forgot them but my friends asked if I had enough water of course say yes look and no water bottles in freezer.  After I got my water headed out hoping it would not rain on me. I stopped at Huntington Beach for about an hour then rode to my sister in Bay Village for a coffee break. Thanks Dawn. Left out of there easy ride to Lakewood. Stopped at a local bar had 2 beers till Taylor got home. Finished ride to Pat and Taylor's. Got in unpacked took a long shower. Taylor and Pat took me out to dinner! I got teriyaki boneless wings. Pat and  Taylor have a beautiful house. Pat has done alot of remodeling himself.  Will sit and have a nice evening in there home tonight.  Bear is a beautiful German Shepard.  Going to
