Good evening All,
Today I left Ft Myers and headed to Punta Gorda. About a 35 mile ride. Had a head wind all day but still made good time. Got to my next warmshowers host Larry around 1:30. He was out but a couple of his friends were here. Leah and her boyfriend.  I forgot his name right now!! Will post it tomorrow when I think of it. When I got here they made me comfortable and gave me coconut and star fruit. Leah also made me a cup of coffee. Leah and her boyfriend are refurbishing an old school bus. Larry already did that and is living in his school bus. The place here reminds me of the 60s! I love the simplicity of this place.
Larry came showed me around his place and all the projects he has going on.
He is redoing a houseboat, working on a 29 foot boat. Has a sma plane to work on.
They made a fabulous dinner. Vegetable and cheese with hummus for an appetizer. Salad,soup,sausage and a pork loin. Also a baked potato.  Chocolate cake for dessert. Wine with dinner also.
What an experience being here. Sat by the fire time bed time. Wish I could spend a few more days here but my journey continues.

Good Evening All, Today we leave Shell Island Fish Camp. Trisha and I spent 4 nights here and we had a great time! We biked each day not far but keeping our legs conditioned. This morning had our coffee and I had a muffin with peanut butter on it. Trisha had oatmeal she made but put to much water in it. Liquid oatmeal so she threw it away. We loaded up and headed out for Tallahassee. Today was only a 20 mile ride. Weather was great slight wind in our face but nothing to hold us back. We get into town and going up a hill so I was down shifting and my derailleur broke and twisted all up. Unloaded my fear from the back rack so I could take chain off so I could push my bike the last mile and a half. Lucky for me the ace I'm staying is a bike shop. They will fix my bike while I come home. They will have 12 days to get parts in and fixed. Should be no problem. 2nd day

Today started off great with Rosa and Joe! Had bagels  cream cheese and coffee! Had a great morning! There dog Augusta Moon or Augie for short was alot of fun and energy. Got ready to head out but was reminded again about water bottles.  Both days I have forgot them but my friends asked if I had enough water of course say yes look and no water bottles in freezer.  After I got my water headed out hoping it would not rain on me. I stopped at Huntington Beach for about an hour then rode to my sister in Bay Village for a coffee break. Thanks Dawn. Left out of there easy ride to Lakewood. Stopped at a local bar had 2 beers till Taylor got home. Finished ride to Pat and Taylor's. Got in unpacked took a long shower. Taylor and Pat took me out to dinner! I got teriyaki boneless wings. Pat and  Taylor have a beautiful house. Pat has done alot of remodeling himself.  Will sit and have a nice evening in there home tonight.  Bear is a beautiful German Shepard.  Going to
