Rode to Sugarloaf Koa

Got up this morning and made coffee and oatmeal for breakfast. Slept very well last night. Packed up after breakfast and headed out. 32 mile ride to Big Pine Key where I stopped to visit with Jim Adams from Wilsons garage. Sat and talked for a bit then we walked over to I think it's called No Name Bar. Had Conch Soup for the first time and it was very good! Had to have a couple of beers also. After lunch walked back to Jims place took a couple pictures and I headed out. 14 mile ride to Sugarloaf Koa. Total 42 miles today. Wore a light weight long sleeve shirt to protect my arms today. Temp in the mid 80s.
Meet a guy from France on the way to Sugarloaf.  He was stopped at a gas station and getting ready to leave when I pulled in. We talked a bit and he headed out. Come to find out staying at the same campground. Went and had a beer the bar then went across the street for dinner. Enjoy talking with him and trying to understand him. He's doing pretty good speaking English.

Taking tomorrow off so will be in Key West on Friday.
Another day down and feeling blessed to be doing what I'm doing!!
Forgot to mention yesterday about the teenagers at Jolly Rodgers Campground in the water with sharks 3 feet from them.
They were trying to video the sharks with a gopro underwater. Warned them but they were content doing what they were doing. Couple sharks I saw were 5-6 footers.

Good Evening All, Today we leave Shell Island Fish Camp. Trisha and I spent 4 nights here and we had a great time! We biked each day not far but keeping our legs conditioned. This morning had our coffee and I had a muffin with peanut butter on it. Trisha had oatmeal she made but put to much water in it. Liquid oatmeal so she threw it away. We loaded up and headed out for Tallahassee. Today was only a 20 mile ride. Weather was great slight wind in our face but nothing to hold us back. We get into town and going up a hill so I was down shifting and my derailleur broke and twisted all up. Unloaded my fear from the back rack so I could take chain off so I could push my bike the last mile and a half. Lucky for me the ace I'm staying is a bike shop. They will fix my bike while I come home. They will have 12 days to get parts in and fixed. Should be no problem. 2nd day

Today started off great with Rosa and Joe! Had bagels  cream cheese and coffee! Had a great morning! There dog Augusta Moon or Augie for short was alot of fun and energy. Got ready to head out but was reminded again about water bottles.  Both days I have forgot them but my friends asked if I had enough water of course say yes look and no water bottles in freezer.  After I got my water headed out hoping it would not rain on me. I stopped at Huntington Beach for about an hour then rode to my sister in Bay Village for a coffee break. Thanks Dawn. Left out of there easy ride to Lakewood. Stopped at a local bar had 2 beers till Taylor got home. Finished ride to Pat and Taylor's. Got in unpacked took a long shower. Taylor and Pat took me out to dinner! I got teriyaki boneless wings. Pat and  Taylor have a beautiful house. Pat has done alot of remodeling himself.  Will sit and have a nice evening in there home tonight.  Bear is a beautiful German Shepard.  Going to
