48 mile ride

Got up and packed up this morning. Heading out Ft Pierce Sue and Kirk invited me to breakfast.  So a quick 4 miles and at there house for breakfast. Great morning to sit and talk with Sue and Kirk making us poached eggs, hash browns, sausage and toast and of course some great coffee!
After breakfast they headed to work and I headed south! What a beautiful day for a ride. Temp got up into the 80s. Stopped a couple times to charge my battery.  While I was riding heard a loud pop. I stopped my bike to look and found nothing flat or out of place. As I was checking out my bike a young man early teens riding by asked if I needed any help. Just that offer made my day! For me it's the simple things that make my day just a jester to help.
After that the ride went well rode to Jonathan Dickinson State park to camp. What a beautiful park. Borrowed a extension cord from my neighbor so I have electric inside the tent if it rains. Want to keep everything charged as much as possible. Have a couple pictures to post so,

Good Evening All, Today we leave Shell Island Fish Camp. Trisha and I spent 4 nights here and we had a great time! We biked each day not far but keeping our legs conditioned. This morning had our coffee and I had a muffin with peanut butter on it. Trisha had oatmeal she made but put to much water in it. Liquid oatmeal so she threw it away. We loaded up and headed out for Tallahassee. Today was only a 20 mile ride. Weather was great slight wind in our face but nothing to hold us back. We get into town and going up a hill so I was down shifting and my derailleur broke and twisted all up. Unloaded my fear from the back rack so I could take chain off so I could push my bike the last mile and a half. Lucky for me the ace I'm staying is a bike shop. They will fix my bike while I come home. They will have 12 days to get parts in and fixed. Should be no problem. 2nd day

Today started off great with Rosa and Joe! Had bagels  cream cheese and coffee! Had a great morning! There dog Augusta Moon or Augie for short was alot of fun and energy. Got ready to head out but was reminded again about water bottles.  Both days I have forgot them but my friends asked if I had enough water of course say yes look and no water bottles in freezer.  After I got my water headed out hoping it would not rain on me. I stopped at Huntington Beach for about an hour then rode to my sister in Bay Village for a coffee break. Thanks Dawn. Left out of there easy ride to Lakewood. Stopped at a local bar had 2 beers till Taylor got home. Finished ride to Pat and Taylor's. Got in unpacked took a long shower. Taylor and Pat took me out to dinner! I got teriyaki boneless wings. Pat and  Taylor have a beautiful house. Pat has done alot of remodeling himself.  Will sit and have a nice evening in there home tonight.  Bear is a beautiful German Shepard.  Going to
