Drove to Santa Monica.

  The day started out very cool at the campgrounds.  Woke up and it was 37°.
Check temp at Santa Monica and it was 50 so I headed out. When I got there went to Bubba Gump for breakfast.  Had a shrimp and lobster omlete.  Very good!
Headed north on the bike trail about 8 miles then rode back. Just really enjoyed being at the beach. A lot of people here today. Enjoyed watching a the activity.
Drove to LA to meet up with my niece Rachel and her fiance Tyler.  Went out and got dinner then went to a micro brew for a beer. Had a vanilla beer very good. Taste Tyler bourbon beer tasted even better then mine. Drove back to there apt sat and talked a bit! They have a beautiful tree up. Said goodbyes drove back to camp grounds. I love my family.
Calling it a night.

Good Evening All, A very cool morning here in Florida. The temp this morning 38° and windy. Went in a boat house for coffee. By 11 am warm enough to ride into town to do laundry. After the laundry was done dropped it off at camp then road back into town to site see a bit. After visiting the Fort in St Mark's stopped in at Riverside Cafe for lunch. I had a burger for the first time in a long time. Trisha had the shrimp for lunch also good. After lunch rode back to camp. I did some fishing and Trisha did some reading. The lady here gVe me a little fishing pole the pocket fisherman. Caught the 8lb large mouth bass on it. Today caught a small large mouth bass on it maybe 2 lbs. Hooked a couple other fish but they broke my line. Also caught a catfish tonight.  Overall a good day of fishing. Tomorrow will be our last day here. Saturday morning heading to Tallahassee for my flight home. Looking forward to seeing Pam and my family!!! Will try and post a couple pictures. ...

Good Evening All, Today we leave Shell Island Fish Camp. Trisha and I spent 4 nights here and we had a great time! We biked each day not far but keeping our legs conditioned. This morning had our coffee and I had a muffin with peanut butter on it. Trisha had oatmeal she made but put to much water in it. Liquid oatmeal so she threw it away. We loaded up and headed out for Tallahassee. Today was only a 20 mile ride. Weather was great slight wind in our face but nothing to hold us back. We get into town and going up a hill so I was down shifting and my derailleur broke and twisted all up. Unloaded my fear from the back rack so I could take chain off so I could push my bike the last mile and a half. Lucky for me the ace I'm staying is a bike shop. They will fix my bike while I come home. They will have 12 days to get parts in and fixed. Should be no problem. Good evening All, Today was a relaxing day.  Showered this morning then road into St Mark's. Rode around town then out a bike trail to a liquor store and picked up a small bottle of Crown. Stopped at subway for lunch then to campsite to do some fishing. I had no luck tonight except crabs kept eating my shrimp I had for bait. Great day to relax but still got in 13 miles of riding. Not sure wha we will do tomorrow.  Supposed to be cool most of the day. Fly out the 14th for home. Wi be home till the 25th kinda. Have a lot of family things going on while I'm home.
