Got up around 6:30am to start packing up. Got everything but the tent packed was waiting for the sun to dry it a bit so I had my coffee and oatmeal. I was on the road by 8 :10am. What a great morning to ride.  I rode St Rt 31 in to Traverse City.  When I got close to town I had no berm and no sidewalks.  Rode in the rode and a few people were not happy about it. As soon as I got to a sidewalk I got off the main road. A little scary for a bit there. Arrived Traverse City State Park around noonish.  Will be here for the night then up to Leland tomorrow.  Not sure how long I will be staying there yet. My nephew Andy talked about building a deck.  Still might be able to ride south a bit before heading home on the 18th. A good 30 mile ride today and a 28 mile ride tomorrow.

Sti working on getting in shape. Almost z month of riding and only 1 day with a headache on the trip.

Plan on making a couple blogs to post a few pictures.

Good Evening All, Today we leave Shell Island Fish Camp. Trisha and I spent 4 nights here and we had a great time! We biked each day not far but keeping our legs conditioned. This morning had our coffee and I had a muffin with peanut butter on it. Trisha had oatmeal she made but put to much water in it. Liquid oatmeal so she threw it away. We loaded up and headed out for Tallahassee. Today was only a 20 mile ride. Weather was great slight wind in our face but nothing to hold us back. We get into town and going up a hill so I was down shifting and my derailleur broke and twisted all up. Unloaded my fear from the back rack so I could take chain off so I could push my bike the last mile and a half. Lucky for me the ace I'm staying is a bike shop. They will fix my bike while I come home. They will have 12 days to get parts in and fixed. Should be no problem. 2nd day

Today started off great with Rosa and Joe! Had bagels  cream cheese and coffee! Had a great morning! There dog Augusta Moon or Augie for short was alot of fun and energy. Got ready to head out but was reminded again about water bottles.  Both days I have forgot them but my friends asked if I had enough water of course say yes look and no water bottles in freezer.  After I got my water headed out hoping it would not rain on me. I stopped at Huntington Beach for about an hour then rode to my sister in Bay Village for a coffee break. Thanks Dawn. Left out of there easy ride to Lakewood. Stopped at a local bar had 2 beers till Taylor got home. Finished ride to Pat and Taylor's. Got in unpacked took a long shower. Taylor and Pat took me out to dinner! I got teriyaki boneless wings. Pat and  Taylor have a beautiful house. Pat has done alot of remodeling himself.  Will sit and have a nice evening in there home tonight.  Bear is a beautiful German Shepard.  Going to
